A sign up sheet is enclosed. It is crucial that you return it no later than July 31st as we have several mandatory financial deadlines that must be met. We are subject to monetary penalties if we cannot provide accurate attendance figures by August 1st. Therefore, we cannot guarantee attendance to anyone who does not respond by this date. Please mark your calendars. Thanks for helping us by responding promptly.

We are enclosing a list of classmates for whom we have no information. Any information you can return to us regarding addresses, phone numbers, relatives, email addresses, etc. will help us locate them. Please review this as soon as possible so that everyone can have an opportunity to attend the reunion. Financial Assistance
There are quite a few ongoing expenses involved in preparing for these activities such as postage, printing, scholarships, etc. If you would like to contribute to the cause to help defray these costs, please send your check made payable to “Shortridge High School Class of 1963.” Any amount will be appreciated and helpful. We will make sure that excess funds (if any) remaining at the end of the reunion will be safeguarded to be used for future reunions. Questionnaire
Please complete the enclosed questionnaire and return as indicated as soon as possible. (This is also available on the website at www.shortridge63.org.) This will be used in compiling a booklet to be distributed at the reunion.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for classmates who might otherwise be unable to attend. Contact any of the committee members for the details.
Hotel Rooms
The Marten House has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate. Contact The Marten House directly at 317-872-4111 before July 30th and request Shortridge Class of 1963 Reunion block of rooms.
Reunion Video
Raines Video Productions has agreed to video tape the reunion Saturday night. We have viewed a sample of their work which is very professional. Raines will mail order forms directly to us following the reunion. There is no obligation to any of us.
How You Can Help
The best way you can help us, (and we do need help), is by contacting our fellow classmates and encouraging them to attend. If you are willing to do this and need addresses, phone numbers, etc., please call Joe at 317-774-1314.
Music Requests for our Saturday night DJ
Contact our DJ at www.radioparties.com. You can request songs or make dedications on this website. At the home page, select “Search for radio stations that are throwing radio parties in your area”. Select Indiana. Click on “Gold104-WGLD”. Click on Shortridge’s 40th reunion. From here you can make an online request or dedication.
Book Sale
Shortridge Middle School will be selling a hardbound, 300-page history of Shortridge High School for $15.00 during the Open House on Saturday. The book will also be available during the Saturday evening event. Proceeds will benefit the school library.
Class of 1963 Fundraiser for our Alma Mater
A letter detailing the current needs of Shortridge Middle School’s Magnet Program is enclosed. Please consider this in your charitable giving plans for 2003. All contributions will be tax deductible. Please enclose a separate check made payable to Shortridge Middle School for your contribution. If significant funds are raised, a presentation will be made to a school representative Saturday evening.
